Enjoy presentations by live History Interpreters in period attire. Bound for Oregon is a multimedia experience the whole family can enjoy, along with two hands-on areas for younger visitors. The exhibit hall features unique displays throughout the year on local heritage and the Oregon Trail journey.

The Interpretive Center's cedar carving demonstration featuring Walt Garvin is an intriguing hands-on activity for the whole family to experience. For a current schedule please call the Center at 503.657.9336 x124.

The Interpretive Center's Heritage Garden features a wide variety of plants, vegetables and heirloom roses commonly used in the 1800s. This beautiful garden is cared for by the OSU Extension Service's Master Gardener program.

The Visitor Information Center is also located at the End of the Oregon Trail, with helpful staff and a wide selection of area maps and brochures.
